Cotton at ninety-five per cent, with the remainder giving just enough give to stop the seat pulling when you crouch. Cotton breathes in a way synthetics still cannot match, and it softens rather than degrades: this trouser is better in its second year than its first, which is not a claim polyester can make.

How it fits

Mid waist, zip fly, generous through the hip and thigh, then tapering from the knee down. Sizes M to 2XL. The taper means the hem sits on the shoe rather than pooling over it, so the looseness above reads as deliberate rather than as a size too large.
